Young people, thankfully, haven't learned to varnish what they see around them. So when the leaders of the National Rural Assembly asked young folk from four regions of rural America to make films about their lives and their communities, the results were both entertaining and sobering.

A message from the Rural Assembly

The first film, above, was produced by students in the Pueblo of Laguna, one of 19 native pueblos in New Mexico. Laguna is locate 45 miles west of Albuquerque. The Laguna Pueblo has over 7,800 enrolled tribal members. The students who made this film addressed the issue of health in their villages.
