The tornado that struck West Liberty, Kentucky, last week destroyed the office of The Licking Valley Courier (above), a 3400 circulation paper owned by Earl Kinner. The storm leveled the office and Kinner’s house across the street. Storms in Kentucky killed 20 people. The Kentucky Press Association has set up a fund to help newspapers in the state hurt by the storm. You can make a donation to the Kentucky Journalism Foundation, 101 Consumer Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601.
