n=”left”>National Public Radio reported yesterday that Hillary Clinton’s campaign failed to leave a tip after eating a meal at a restaurant in Toledo, Iowa. The story made the rounds and got everybody excited.

Actually, the campaign left a $100 tip on a $157 bill, the New York Times reported today. The Times interviewed the waitress at the Maid Rite, Anita Esterday, who had the best media commentary of the decade.

“You people are really nuts,” Esterday said. “There’s kids dying in the war, the price of oil right now — there’s better things in this world to be thinking about than who served Hillary Clinton at Maid Rite and who got a tip and who didn’t get
