Christopher Stowell, a 13 year old Boy Scout from Skiatook, OK, has already earned merit badges for Political Organizing and Tenacity, except the Boy Scouts of America doesn’t offer badges in those endeavors. Nor has it offered a merit badge in bee keeping since 1995.
That’s gotten Christopher busy. The dedicated apiarist has launched a campaign to restore bee keeping in the Scouts program and is soliciting help online (no money involved, just statements of support).
