Toyota hybrid to be produced in rural Mississippi

The New York Times is reporting that Toyota will begin manufacturing its gas-electric hybrid Prius in Blue Springs, MS. The plant is currently under construction. This comes as the auto maker temporarily suspends production at its two U. S. plants that produce the Tundra, a full-size pick-up truck.
