Bill Stein realized he new more about Vienna than his hometown. That changed his life, and the life of hometown, too.
When President-elect Obama announced a task force to protect working families, he didn't include the Secretary of Agriculture.
The country is going into contortions to deal with the collapse of the housing market. The collapse took place in the cities, not in rural communities.
The two best performing stocks in the S&P 500 were businesses based in rural America. And Wal-Mart didn't do bad either.
Rural residents spend a lot more time in cities than city folk spend in small towns. They understand what cities are about. Urbanites are having a harder time coming to grips with rural.
The fastest-growing mid-sized county is in South Dakota. Not exactly what we've come to expect!
